It will read the PLMN from the sim card, if present there. You can search for "home PLMN", "visitor PLMN" etc. to learn more about this.

Mobility is available (and used by default) in LTE-M for seamless handover between cell towers, but not in NB1.

If you have an issue, can you please try to run at_client in combination with LTE Link Monitor (available through nRF connect for desktop), and share the log file from this?

You need to issue "AT+CFUN=1" and afterwards "AT+CFUN?", then it should print any incoming notifications.

Our nrf9160 device failed to send data to our server. We think it may because of the auto select PLMN mode not enabled.
