1、I made the following modifications to the hello_world example（ncs1.7.0\v1.7.0\zephyr\samples\hello_world.

2、I have disabled uart0,But the average power consumption is 6.15mA,I don't know whether the power consumption is normal.This

RE: Is nrf9160dk power consumption too high

Hi,

Are you certain that there is no output on the serial lines?

note that you need to disable SERIAL for both secure and non-secure, as previously stated (ie. in hello_world/prj.conf and hello_world/child_image/spm.conf), and you could try to delete the build folder and re-generate the project.

If you still have issues, please create a new thread.

Are you sure that VIN and VOUT isn't reversed? It looks good in the picture you posted, but be sure to power cycle the device (toggle enable output power) when switching.

You seem to have connected it correctly. Do you have any issues with your current connection?

If we take hello_world as a reference configured for board "nrf9160dk_nrf9160_ns", and disable SERIAL for both secure and non-secure, you should see this current consumption profile:

What I did to recreate this:

* Create the folder child_image, with file "spm.conf" holding this line:

CONFIG_SERIAL=n

Then we also disable serial in the non-secure application, by adding the same line to prj.conf:

CONFIG_SERIAL=n

Kind regards,
