Hi,

Are you certain that there is no output on the serial lines?

note that you need to disable SERIAL for both secure and non-secure, as previously stated (ie. in hello_world/prj.conf and hello_world/child_image/spm.conf), and you could try to delete the build folder and re-generate the project.

If you still have issues, please create a new thread.

I'm trying out this example (hello world with serial disabled in secure and non-secure application) but I still get a current consumption of around 800 uA. Do you know what could be the problem?

Hi,

Are you sure that VIN and VOUT isn't reversed? It looks good in the picture you posted, but be sure to power cycle the device (toggle enable output power) when switching.

I make LED1 flash once a second.

Because the wave and value measured in the Ampere meter mode is different from that measured in the Source meter mode.Show in the figure below.

I think the wave and value measured in Ampere mode are incorrect.

Hi,

If we take hello_world as a reference configured for board "nrf9160dk_nrf9160_ns", and disable SERIAL for both secure and non-secure, you should see this current consumption profile:

What I did to recreate this:

* Create the folder child_image, with file "spm.conf" holding this line:

CONFIG_SERIAL=n

Then we also disable serial in the non-secure application, by adding the same line to prj.conf:

CONFIG_SERIAL=n
