Could you please do the following:

In the application build folder your NCS 1.3.0 build, please copy the content of partitions.yml
In the root folder of your NCS 1.5.1 application, create a file named pm_static.yml
Paste the content of partitions.yml to pm_static.yml
Perform a full rebuild of the application in NCS v1.5.1.

Yes, boot_write_img_confirmed() is called in the application; add a little detail. The firmware developed on ncs1.3.0 can be upgraded successfully. After reset, it is still the upgraded firmware. The firmware developed on ncs1.5.1 can also be upgraded. After the upgrade is successful, it is the upgraded firmware after reset. However, if the firmware developed from ncs1.3.0 is upgraded to the firmware developed by ncs1.5.1, the upgrade can be successful, but after reset, it will change back to the firmware function of ncs1.3.0 version.

Does the application of the device call boot_write_img_confirmed(); after the firmware upgrade has been performed?
