&lt;p&gt;Yes, the &lt;a href="https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/ps_nrf9160/gpio.html"&gt;nRF9160&amp;#39;s GPIOs features a crossbar, so you may connect any individual pin to any interface block&lt;/a&gt;, that is correct.
