&lt;p&gt;It&amp;#39;s difficult to give any exact answer here, because there are many unknown factors. If you submerge a BLE device in water, the range will be 0. There is no radio propagation through water. If you make a casing that is waterproof, that does not mean that the range will be impacted in a negative way by itself, but it&amp;#39;s important that the product&amp;nbsp;is tuned in the final&amp;nbsp;casing&amp;nbsp;to achieve the best performance in terms of output power and antenna impedance. This is something we can typically help you with, but you will need to share you schematic and layout with us for review before you manufacturer you board in such case. In general, typical range for a BLE device is around 10meters (but it will depend on the environment, for instance is there any walls or obstacles between the peers).&lt;/p&gt;
