 I am using a nRF9160-SICA-B1 and sometimes will see debug output that looks like this in Tera Term:

&lt;p&gt;Have you tried using another serial terminal, like Termite or PuTTY?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This type behavior often goes away when restarting the terminal emulator, and it is likely not caused by the nRF9160.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
