no problem, there might some configuration issue or maybe you are using the some of the pins that are using by SPI for something else somewhere? SPI and SPIS are very well tested solutions, i would be surprised if they did not work.

Thanks for testing! Weird that it doesn't work over here. No idea why I get spurious events. Could it have something to do with the radio or some noise on the pins? I'm using a ANT+ softdevice as part of the design. Tried it without though, same result. Perhaps at the end of the week I have some spare time to look into it again. Maybe I should start from scratch.

The example seems to be working fine

Also works the same with your code.

I realized that last time I misconnected the pins.

Sorry for missing this Jhellen, I somehow missed to follow this thread. Apologies for that.

I forgot what happened in my last test, so i need to test this again, sorry again, does not happen so often that I lose track of threads.

Is there any news? In the mean time I started using a UART instead of the SPIS. With all respect, I find it rather strange that no one seems to be able to answer this basic question I have. Am I the only one experiencing this kind of problems? Does it have something to do with MCU I'm using or .....

I already tried some other pins, at least for the chip select. No luck.

I am sorry, I did not manage to get more info on this, I will come back to you mostly tomorrow. I suspect there probably is the problem with the pins used or the pull configuration on one of the pin

Hi,

I tried to run a simple SPI/SPIS test with the same configuration as yours and do not see any rx data. I need to debug this to see why such a simple configuration is not working out of the box. Will come back to you hopefully tomorrow with more data.
