It looks to connect and run as expected, LTE network wise, but you're getting an error on the message size:

2021-11-09T13:24:50.639Z DEBUG modem << [00:01:12.078,552] [1;31m<err> mqtt_simple: publish_get_payload failed: -122[0m

This translates to:

https://github.com/eblot/newlib/blob/master/newlib/libc/include/sys/errno.h#L153

This is because the default buffer size is 128, which can be adjusted using config "CONFIG_MQTT_PAYLOAD_BUFFER_SIZE"

I issued all the commands directly in LTE Link Monitor after i ran at_client. Should i run it a little longer?

But as usual before connecting it takes much time

RE: nrf9160 modem get stuck in LTE seaching

Hi Cedric,

It shows that you're connected (roaming state) after approx. 18 minutes, but I was hoping to get more information out here.

Could you run this in LTE Link Monitor? This applies, by default, a series of AT commands when you query AT+CFUN?.

Kind regards,

Could you try to connect with at_client firmware, in combination with LTE Link Monitor (from nRF Connect for Desktop) and issue these commands?

AT+CEREG=5
AT+CFUN=1
AT+CFUN?

Let it run for 10 minutes and post the log here.
