I've been working on getting a gsm modem functional using the GSM Modem Zephyr driver on an nRF5340. I believe I have the overlay file setup correctly, but am recieving unexpected log output. There is log output for net & ppp configuration before

RE: GSM Modem Driver Initialization Question

Hi,

My apologies for not catching this earlier.

P0.02 and P0.03 is dedicated to the NFC interface, unless specified directly to be normal GPIOs:

https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/ug_nrf5340_dk/UG/dk/hw_nfc_if.html?cp=3_0_4_3_10

If you are using the nRF5340-DK, you have do add resistors as explained above to use them.

The easiest option is usually to choose other GPIOs.

Kind regards,

I now have a logic analyzer to scope the UART lines.

Your external device does not respond to the "AT" command being sent over UART.

I would recommend that you scope the UART lines to see if there's any communication at all from the gsm modem.
Should I be concerned with the different device addresses or not?
these are pointers to where the different configurations are located. I do not believe this is problematic.
