My apologies for not catching this earlier.

P0.02 and P0.03 is dedicated to the NFC interface, unless specified directly to be normal GPIOs:

If you are using the nRF5340-DK, you have do add resistors as explained above to use them.

The easiest option is usually to choose other GPIOs.

Thank you for the reply. I now have a logic analyzer to scope the UART lines. However, I'm not seeing any activity on TX.

Hi,

Your external device does not respond to the "AT" command being sent over UART.

I would recommend that you scope the UART lines to see if there's any communication at all from the gsm modem.

these are pointers to where the different configurations are located. I do not believe this is problematic.
