&lt;p&gt;So you only want to do pairing and not bonding, correct? I guess one way would be to create a whitelist with the first device your peripheral connects to, and then only do directed advertising to that specific central afterwards. This is done in I.E. our &lt;a href="https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/sdk_nrf5_v17.1.0/ble_sdk_app_hids_mouse.html"&gt;HID mouse application&lt;/a&gt; in the nRF5 SDK, so I would suggest checking that out, and specifically&amp;nbsp;how directed advertising is implemented.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If this doesn&amp;#39;t fit your use case, please try explaining more in detail what you&amp;#39;re aiming for with your end product. I&amp;#39;m struggling to see why not bonding is a fine solution if you just want to bond to one specific device and not allow others to do so.&lt;/p&gt;
