Hi Elfving,

I used a USB to Serial module to send DFU from PC to serial DFU node.

I have used the same module some time ago and it worked perfectly fine, don't know why it didn't work this time however it is working with nRF52832.

I am so glad it got resolved! I'm a little uncertain about in what way serial connections made this happen though. Which connection are you referring to?

Hi Elfving,

The issue is resolved.

The serial link was causing this issue.

I double-checked my serial connections and tried with 2 development kits, but stuck with the same problem. However, it worked perfectly with the COM port of the DK.

Don't know why this happened?

Hey Himanshu!

That is strange. I've asked the SW team about this, and they will get back to me eventually. Could you try another nRF52833 as well, just to make sure it isn't due to eg. wear on this particular one?

Does normal DFU's work on it?

I have tried DFU with nrf52832 and it worked. The device was successfully programmed.

Don't know why it is not working with nrf52833.

Hi Elfving,

Not particularly 35th segment but it stops near 35th segment, sometimes 33rd segment.

Without debugger it randomly stops at 20%, 25%, 29% on windows power shell. I have also tried it with multiple interval values -i 100, -i 200, -i 1000, - i 2000 but still the same result

I have not connected it to any network or provisioned it.

I am using nRF SDK for mesh v4.2.0 only. Dfu example.

That is odd. So you've tried to it several times, and it is always the 35th segment? Could you tell me more about the network and what type of node this is? Is it for instance based on any particular NCS sample?
