Could you try downgrading your J-Link to some older versions like v7.20 ? If not could try with v6.88 ?

When trying to re-connect, the following messages appear at NRF TERMINAL:

SEGGER J-Link V7.56d - Real time terminal output
J-Link OB-SAM3U128-V2-NordicSemi compiled Feb 2 2021 16:47:20 V1.0, SN=683987631
Process: JLinkExe

After that there's only quietness...

Hi,

Could you try testing whether this same problem occurs when you connect an nrf52840 DK directly as the target?
