I just created a new project from scratch using SEGGER IDE (not NRF Cmake file etc). It prints correctly; but only shows 64 lines of prints.

I have the same problem. I tried both printf and printk and and non works. The LED close to the Segger chip blinks fast, but I don't see anything on JLinkRTTClient. JLinkExe works because I can use h and g commands and NRF chip stops and continues.

For each instance of JLinkExe you can specify -SelectEmuBySN to selector the JLink by its serial number.

If we have multiple devices connected to the computer how do we select a specific device like the window version

Here's it all in one command: JLinkExe -device NRF52 -if SWD -speed 4000 -autoconnect 1 This will perform all the above steps in one command.

Tested these features today, some minor changes were needed:

Instead of -device nRF52832 put -device NRF52
Manually type connect and press enter.

If you are using nRF52 you would use JLinkExe -device nRF52832 -speed 4000 -if SWD, remember to use the latest versions as nRF52 support might be limited.

Hi,

Information is based on this post over on the SEGGER forums.

To use the RTT for OS X you need to launch/configure JLinkCommander(JLinkExe) with your connection settings, navigate to the folder containing the executable files and run JLinkExe -device nRF51422 -speed 4000 -if SWD, keep this window open, it is running the server that you are parsing RTT info from. In a different terminal you can now run JLinkRTTClient, and it will connect to your devkit.
