"Customer is asking for AT command parser, basically to parse AT responses and notifications.

The only hint from nRF91 side is https://developer.nordicsemi.com/nRF_Connect_SDK/doc/latest/nrf/libraries/modem/at_cmd_parser.html

This is the external AT parser for both command and responses, besides the internal parsing functions in libmodem."

I'm pretty sure the libraries you mention won't work outside of the nrf9160. I think you need to interface directly with the modem to use the AT interface.

"The AT interface can be used once the application initializes the Modem library in NORMAL_MODE by calling nrf_modem_init()."

I'm not sure if there are any other libraries you can use, but I will let you know if I find some.

RE: SLM and external MCU

So my main question is what is the best way to integrate AT client on external MCU (nRF52 + NCS) and can available modem libraries be used on that client and to what extent?
