One of my customer is doing the BQB certification with nRF52840.
When test the coded phy, the error occurs: failed to obtain enough packets 3.
The following two testing item didn't pass:

The RF port is used to transmit signals for RX testing or receive for TX testing. You can't control the UART without the tester. If you do, the tester won't be able to control the device.

Take a look at this: https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/struct_appnotes/struct/appnotes_nan34.html

RE: 52840 BQB certification problem

Hi Ketil，

What do you mean by ‘BLE tester’, is it a PC software used to test the performance of radio?

If so, would you please kindly share the link of the download website, and I think there must be the guideline of how to use it.

RE: 52840 BQB certification problem

Hi

Can you ask what version of the DTM they are using? Coded phy should be supported and working with the latest DTM version from SDK 17. The device must be controlled by the BLE tester over UART, so the DTM test tool shouldn't be used for this.

There's no need to repeat the RF-PHY testing as they can refer to the QDID for the RF-PHY that's already tested by us. https://launchstudio.bluetooth.com/ListingDetails/115770
