&lt;p&gt;&lt;a href="https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/sdk_nrf5_v17.1.0/group__ble__nus.html"&gt;The Nordic UART service&lt;/a&gt; does exactly that (printing throughput data), it transmits UART data over BLE and prints it over UART on the other side.&lt;/p&gt;

It should give you an indicator of what the maximum throughput will be and what to enable in order to achieve it.&lt;/p&gt;
