&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;You need to enable pin reset by adding&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;CONFIG_GPIO_AS_PINRESET variable to the compiler preprocessor macros. You can refer this &lt;a href="https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/ug_nrf52840_dk/UG/dk/boot_reset_but.html"&gt;page&lt;/a&gt; to know how to do this. Note that&amp;nbsp;pin p0.18 is already&amp;nbsp;enabled as pin reset&amp;nbsp;in an nRF52840DK and is connected to the RESET Button(SW5).&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
