Hi Einar,

After adding the user to the dialout group, we had to restart our PC for the dialout changes to have affect. We were able to successfully flash the connectivity firmware using the same command-

nrfutil dfu usb-serial -pkg ~/Downloads/connectivity_4.1.1_usb_with_s132_5.1.0_dfu_pkg.zip -p /dev/ttyACM0 -b 115200

Hi,

Instead of changing the permissions the clean way would be to add your user to the dialout group like this:

sudo adduser <user> dialout

That way the user will have permission to use the serial ports.
