Thanks, I was getting the app from the Hex folder instead of _bl. I thought they were the same thing but...... everything works fine now

I have seen that for my location iBASIS sim won't work. Thats the problem. Can you confirm that you program the firmware with boatload from nrf9160dk_fw_2021-10-20_d29f1dde/img_app_bl/nrf9160dk_asset_tracker_ltem_2021-10-20_d29f1dde.hex?

1. Erase device

2. uploaded nrf9160dk_fw_2021-10-20_d29f1dde/img_app_bl/nrf9160dk_asset_tracker_ltem_2021-10-20_d29f1dde.hex

3. update the modem file mfw_nrf9160_1.3.1

4 created nrf cloud account

5. while adding provision devices generated the .json file and upload the file to the device using nrf connect / LTE monitor

uploaded certificate after setting the AT+CFUN=4

6. added iBasis esim (my region is INDIA will it works?)

7. after activation while setting the LTE device shows an error 40412

No, both thingy91 and nRF9160DK have LTE antenna on boards.

I actually have a problem understanding "I've tried to provision the DK and I get the error 40412 not recognized." Can you provide more information?
