What does the output look like now that you have SWD selected instead of JTAG? Your original invocation worked for me on my Linux machine as long as I selected SWD. I normally use JLinkGDBServerCL though.

Hi Hakon,

I did set the -if to swd but still get the same error. Yes, my device has been fully passed through the VM. I am able to flash, clear and reset the target device fine with the nrfjprog tool using the command line.

Hi,

You must specify "-if swd" as none of the nRF devices have jtag support.

Are you sure that your device has been fully passed through the VM? are you able to flash a device normally?

Hi Daniel,

Thank you for your response but that unfortunately did not resolve my problem either, plus I think I tried to add it as well as replace the existing -if jtag with -if swd but that doesn't seem to work either.

Add '-if swd' to your arguments.
