I am trying to understand the possibility of using Bluetooth Mesh technology for voice communication for longer distances.
My main problem is to communicate longer distances by having multiple nodes so that they can transmit the voice message

RE: Bluetooth Mesh Based Voice Communication

Hey Radike!

I would suggest that you look at another technology than Bluetooth Mesh for this. Due to the throughput etc, it is not really suited for audio, and the same is also the case for Thread and Zigbee.

WiFi would really give you the longest range, which is why Google home, Amazon Alex and Apple Homekit are based on WiFi. If you don't want to use that, you could wait for Bluetooth audio to launch and try to mix it with Bluetooth long range? Though that is not something I am too familiar with as it isn't released.

Best regards,
