Due to the throughput etc, it is not really suited for audio, and the same is also the case for Thread and Zigbee.</p> <p>WiFi would really give you the longest range, which is why Google home, Amazon Alex and Apple Homekit are based on WiFi. If you don&#39;t want to use that, you could wait for Bluetooth audio to launch and try to mix it with Bluetooth long range?
