Strange, I would expect to see them there. I'll have to get back to you on that.

But in either case I understand that you have gotten some more help with this from the R&D team? What I have gathered from them is that this is a Windows problem, in that Windows never resets the device after requesting to switch to DFU mode.

The firmware triggering a soft reset or a USB reset might be a suggestion for a workaround.

If you are using the other class for logging, another workaround could be to use CDC_ACM composite with one of the class instances used for console/logging/shell and the second one for mcumgr over CDC_ACM serial.

Have these configuration option names changed? I am not able to find CONFIG_BOOT_USB_DFU_GPIO or CONFIG_BOOT_USB_DFU_WAIT in https://developer.nordicsemi.com/nRF_Connect_SDK/doc/1.5.0/kconfig/index-all.html

It can be enabled using either CONFIG_BOOT_USB_DFU_GPIO or CONFIG_BOOT_USB_DFU_WAIT. That should make the image get uploaded directly to the primary slot, which means there is no swap needed, although this also means you'll resign from image recovery in case for instance new image will not work.

Is there a way to do that? I didn't find how to enable USB DFU in MCUBoot directly.

Hey Rashmi!

Could you try enabling USB DFU in MCUBoot directly so that you don't need to set up USB DFU in the application, and see if that works?
