Your advice helped to find out that I was missing the activation of SEGGER Embedded Studio.
I did it and it works now !

To see your version of JLink, you can search in your searchbar and find out as shown below:

v7.20 is for Windows 32-bits
support for Windows 64-bits starts at v7.50

by the way, how can I know which version of JLINK is installed on my PC ?

What is the version of your JLink? Could you try installing the v7.20 or later?

Hi Sergio,

We have been receiving similar problems and are working on a fix. Could you try uninstalling the extension and installing it using the "Install from VSIX.." option in the extensions menu, with the .vsix folder that I share?

You can find the option as shown below:

devzone.nordicsemi.com/.../1663.nrf_2D00_connect_2D00_0.0.0.vsix.7z

p.s (I have shared a zip file within which is the .vsix file)
