&lt;p&gt;we do not use any nRF9160 GPIOs with exception of AT command UART (other GPIOs are NC).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;All GPIO functions are on nRF52840 who is used as app MCU.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;We use nRF52840 because of BT, so nRF9160 acts just as modem through Serial LTE modem app.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;modem traces is only available through UART.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Have you tested the &amp;quot;trace collector v2 preview&amp;quot; in the pc-application nrf connect for desktop?&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;This is unfortunately not available at this time.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Don&amp;#39;t you have two gpios that you can use for&amp;nbsp;fetching the modem trace? For instance by disabling one part of your fw that uses GPIOs?&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I am afraid that I cannot say much without a modem trace showing the problem. Could you take a modem trace and share that here?&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;ESM #29:&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;strong&gt;Cause #29 – User authentication or authorization failed&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I would recommend that you check with your network provider wrt. to these reported cause codes.&lt;/p&gt;
