Hi Visweswara,

That sounds great. I have to make a correction in my earlier solution. In case of building for nrf5340dk, if you are using the nrf5340dk_nrf5340_cpuapp for building, then the name of the overlay file should be "nrf5340dk_nrf5340_cpuapp.overlay". Also, this should be visible under the DeviceTree option and would look somewhat like this:

Hi Priyanka,

I followed your tip, It's working.

One thing I wish to share, I can't see any .overlay file under device_tree tab. Though its is not visible, we can find "found : <fiile_name>.overlay" under the build logs.

Hi Viswa,

In order to add the .overlay file, you should provide the name as <BOARD_NAME>.overlay, which is also mentioned here. Hence, if you are using a nrf5340DK, the overlay file's name will be nrf5340dk_nrf5340.overlay. This overlay file should then be placed inside the project folder. You can also create a file called 'boards' inside the project folder where you can create different overlays for various board types.
