hello Simon , i would like to have more than 20 bytes that i can send, if i send 21 bytes i don't have the return in my app (rx and tx is the same thing). I'm lookin for in the dev Zone but i didn't found an answer thank you in advance

What do you mean about the size of "rx and tx character"? I think you have already done so in your main file by setting the TX and RX_BUF_SIZE to 256. What do you want to change the size to, and what are you struggling with exactly?

What are TX pin number and RX pin number set to, and is the module connected to a USB-UART bridge so it is able to communicate with the computer? I'm guessing it doesn't which is why you can't connect to PuTTY and see logs on your computer.

Hello, everything is working fine when i send the program in the DK but when I emluated/transfer this in the nrf52805 (module) I can send it but I can't send or receive info thx to the app ou putty. I saw the program but I wanted to know if you have an idea of the source of the problem. the dk has value and feedback and the nrf805 nothing communicate. Thank you in advance

hello , sorry for being late. I just checked my micro USB and USB and its okay. Do I have something to modify in my program to putty being connected? Because I'm not having connection ( the connection/ com with putty was working with my DK but not the module. thx in advancedevzone.nordicsemi.com/.../5826.pca10040e_5F00_nrf52805.zip

The nRF52805 module will need to connect to the computer somehow. The DK is connected over a micro-USB to USB and UART bridge in order to print data to and from PuTTY. Most modules don't have a USB to UART bridge, but you can connect one. In the uart_init() function, the TX and RX pin are set by rx_pin_no and tx_pin_no.

Hello , where can i found the pins? im using the tuto and i can send the program but i dont know why i cant make a com with putty (my DK was working with putty and i was able with this DK to communicate between my laptop and my phone) Thank you in advance

Are you sure the correct pins on the 805 are connected to your USB to UART bridge? What pins on the 805 are you using for UART transmission exactly?

What SDK version are you using, and have you modified your project to fit an nRF52805 instead of whatever your basic example project is configured for? Here's a blog post on development for nRF52805.
