&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;To elaborate - I am talking about the inability to evaluate the nrf9160DKs cellular functionality out of the box (as per Nordics currently recommended&amp;nbsp;guides) due to the issues with nrfCloud that prevent sim activation - I hope this clarifies my point.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I have also had the same problem for the last two weeks now.&amp;nbsp;I live in Sydney/Australia where there is good coverage for LTE-M.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;There definitely is an issue with the nrfcloud frontend -&amp;gt; &amp;quot;User not updated&amp;quot; constantly on entering ICCID and Puk.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I received the sim with the nRF9160DK and like many from what I have read I am a bit shocked at how poor this service is - considering it is the currently supported &amp;quot;Getting started with nRF9160DK&amp;quot; sample?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Please can you advise a workaround or escalate to iBasis Tech Support to activate the sim.&lt;/p&gt;

It looks like an issue with our front end, but still needs to be verified.&amp;nbsp;&lt;span&gt;They were able to reproduce the issue.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;The SIM&amp;nbsp;was&amp;nbsp;activated. The registration form gets sent successfully, however, the front end did not get correct event.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
