 Is it any possible setup to connect a NRF52840-DK to the nRF Connect app in a smartphone without pairing or bonding? That would help me for testing and in this stage I don&amp;#39;t need a security connection.

&lt;p&gt;Yes, that&amp;#39;s possible. The easiest, and most useful way in a testing/evaluation stage I imagine would be using the &lt;a href="https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/sdk_nrf5_v17.1.0/ble_sdk_app_nus_eval.html"&gt;ble_app_uart &lt;/a&gt;example on the nRF52 side. It does not implement any security features like bonding or pairing, and only connects and uses the Nordic UART service to send UART messages over the air to/from the DK and phone app.&lt;/p&gt;
