The problem was we were using iBASIS SIM card and we did not do any kind of registration on network operator. So finally we procured few Verizon SIM cards and registered the IMEI number of our devices on their portal. With first try device started bootstrapping process and printed all the possible events including LWM2M_CARRIER_EVENT_REGISTERED.

Thank you for your support. I am closing the ticket.
1. Based on the comments provided by Hakon, I gave a try with LwM2M carrier sample with ncs 1.5.1 and Modem Firmware version 1.1.4 (mentioned in Mobile network operator certifications) to see LWM2M_CARRIER_EVENT_REGISTERED will occur or not and there was no such event occurred for me. Even I erased the memory from 0xCA00-0xCAFF using nrfjprog --erasepage command and re-flashed the everything but no effect of that as well. I need your guidance how to overcome this issue.
I'm not sure why you aren't getting the LWM2M_CARRIER_EVENT_REGISTERED event. I will ask the NCS team tomorrow about this.
