In order to print serial messages from the nRF9160, the <a href="https://developer.nordicsemi.com/nRF_Connect_SDK/doc/latest/nrf/applications/connectivity_bridge/README.html">Connectivity bridge application</a> must be flashed to the nRF52840 SoC.
