Does it depend on the version of the nRF9160 ? Then which versions ?

&lt;p lang="en-GB"&gt;Good point, Jean!&amp;nbsp;This was&amp;nbsp;changed&amp;nbsp;in the latest version of the Thingy:91, v1.6.0.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p lang="en-GB"&gt;I’m not a hardware expert, but to me it looks like that SIM_DET is not connected neither on the Thingy:91, see picture below.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p lang="en-GB"&gt;according to the &lt;a href="https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/ps_nrf9160/pin.html"&gt;Pin assignments&lt;/a&gt; of the nRF9160 Product Specification, SIM_DET is not used and needs to be left floating.&lt;/p&gt;
