We procured nrf8002 BLE for our product. Currently we are in developing stage. We are using arm coertex M4-32bit based Teensy3.2 board as master. We havent bought Nordic developing board. We chose to procure QFN32 package breakout board

RE: starting BLE

Good replies from technical team

RE: starting BLE

Thank you sir, I think you have solved my query & gave clear idea.

I cannot really recommend anything except for using a properly tuned antenna... Of course the chip will still send radio signals but this is not a use case we have tested.

You can use the default configuration in nRFgo studio. It should be fine. However, you won't be able to discover the device unless the radio signals reach your scanner. e.g. place the central device as close to the chip as possible.

Thanks a lot for your response.

I removed 1 mH inductors. Currently we are developing our prototype on bredboard. Here, in INDIA inductors with the range of nH are not available in standard breadboard version (Only SMD version available). Hence, I replaced inductors with simple copper wire. Will it work?

Now, errors are not occurring with nRFgo studio. I am able to upload configuration into RAM. But, still BLE is undiscoverable. Can you give me minimum required configuration to make BLE discoverable, so I can give a try.

Thanks,

Using 1 mH inductors will not work. Please follow the reference schematics shown in the Product specification.

The nRF8002 comes with firmware, but you have to load the configuration from nRFgo studio to the chip to make it start advertising. For development you load the configuration into ram, while for production you load it into OTP.
