&lt;p&gt;&lt;span lang="en-GB"&gt;Yes, the Thingy:91 can run with SIM cards from this operator, but only on CAT-M1/LTE-M. And since the operator does not cover it in India, your Thingy:91 will not be able to connect to the network there.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span lang="en-GB"&gt;No, the nRF9160 modem does not support 2G. With the mentioned operator, only CAT-M1 (LTE-M) is possible.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
