I've recently received my Thingy:91 and wanted to get it up and running. I followed your video ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xQ7hDzRULJQ ), although did not see the description before completing the steps. I updated the modem firmware (turning

RE: Thingy:91 Bricked after following "Getting Started" guide video

A 9160DK would be best. It might be that you could use the external programmer on the 5340DK, but it might be a bit difficult. I am looking into it.

But in either case you would need a 10-pin SWD cable. For more info see here.

Working on boards without an external debugger can be bit difficult.

It seems bricked.
I wanted to reproduce this, but haven't managed to.

If you try to follow the instructions here, I assume then you would have trouble with step 4? Let me know at what point you are running into issues.

Working without an external debugger / programmer can be a bit troublesome at times. Do you happen to have a 9160DK on hand as well? With a 9160DK and a 10-pin SWD cable this could be easily fixed, otherwise I am not so sure.

Regards,
