 I&amp;#39;ve tried downloading a few NFC sample programs to my nRF5340-DK board and playing around a bit, but I ultimately want to implement something like a UART console that uses the NFC interface instead of a wired connection.

&lt;p&gt;I think you might be looking for something like the &lt;a href="https://developer.nordicsemi.com/nRF_Connect_SDK/doc/latest/nrf/samples/nfc/record_text/README.html"&gt;NFC record_text sample project&lt;/a&gt;, which initializes the NFC tag and generates an NDEF message that will be printed to polling NFC devices. Please note that the NFCT peripheral on the nRF52 and nRF53 series SoCs is an NFC tag, and won&amp;#39;t be able to read/poll NFC tags itself without additional hardware that does that.&lt;/p&gt;
