You never try erase all flash on nRF51 stream, Aryan? :)) so ok i will try when i go to my office. how to gest full support, next step i will re-design PCB. May be need help with antenna although i have designed PCB with TI bluetooth IC

Yeap, the preview board need erase all flash as you suggest. I think flash at softdevice locate have invalid data.

But i don't know why. Because follow notation when i download new softdevice, the older will be earsed :)).

Now I have to ask you few obvious things. . Download nrf5x-tools from here and install it . erase your full chip using nrfjprog from command prompt "nrfjprog.exe -f NRF52 -e"

. Have you used fresh copy of SDK? if yes then next step

. Did you flash softdevice "flash_s132_nrf52_xxx" target first before flashing the application? If yes, then next step

. select target "nrf52832_xxaa_s132" , check if its IRAM IROM settings look like this

. flash and run

. I cannot think of anything else can effect the execution to reach your main function

as I told you last time, if you are seeing LED4 half on and LED2 full on then you are in debug mode but haven't executed anything in the system init routine (which turns trace off). Have you even gotten a simple blinky example to work with no softdevice yet?

if your company wants to move to Nordic chip then you will get better and full support if you open a case in your My Page. But anyways we have already spend so much time, so we can continue here and finish it tomorrow :)

it don't jump into main function, the debug functionality "Step F11"-"Step over F10"- "Step out(Ctrl+F10)",... is disable and can't execute when start press debug button

I don't see LED1 blinking only LED2 strong light and LED4 weak light.

When i debug, it can't jump into main function. So i don't know where is example execute.

after you flash ble_app_uart LED1 should start blinking if it is advertising, else something is wrong and your application has not started. Try to debug your application and see if your main starts by putting a breakpoint in the first or second line in main.

When i download softdevice into nRF52 preview kit. LED 2 is strong light, LED 4 is weak light.
After download softdeviceI i continue compile and download ble_app_uart example to nRF52 preview kit. The LED 2 is still strong light and LED 4 is weak light. Then i open nRF toolbox- UART scan for recognize nRF preview DK but scan nothing.
I try to turn off power and re-turn on power again LED2 and LED4 now is off. Open nRF toolbox- UART to scan I see scan nothing too.

Please show me detail the progress your test? Is it the same my test :((

All the config is default. I 'don't change anything.

I try to do everything but i still can't help my iphone recognize nRF preview kit. So can you support more help me :(

I test on packet: "nRF52_SDK_0.9.1_3639cc9" , nRF52 preview DK, Iphone 5 (IOS 8.4-12H143) with turned on bluetooth, MDK-ARM version 5.15.0.

Aryan. if i only want nRF toolbox recognize nRf52 preview DK, can i need to change any thing in the code of ble_app_uart example? Or can i need re-config any thing in the code project.

I also test my iphone with beacon kit, it work very well. So i think bluetooth on my iphone is no problem.

I am a beginner with nordic IC, i usually work with chip TI semiconductor. I also install nrf Tools on on IOS 8.4(12H143) but test fail. I turned on bluetooth before test. So can i ask you:

do you need re-config or any change on the example you test. eg: ble_app_uart
can you tell me how to down load softdevice before compile and run example.

Tested it on IOS 8.4(12H143) nrf Tools->UART with the application you mentioned and it works just fine.
