This is not something that I have tested, but I see that the "additional output format" is set in the "Linker" section in the project settings:

You can try to set it to bin (it is an option in the drop down menu).

Again, this is not something I have tested. Why do you need that? If it doesn't work, I believe this is actually a question that would be better suited for Segger.
