My response is not about above question, but do you know the Android's equivalent of Apple Notification Center Service? I want to implement mirror notification from central (mobile app) to peripheral but don't know how to get started.

all what I need is the app identifier and the data of the app identifier is written at ancs_attr_list[0].p_attr_data address? how to access it p_attr_Data is an integer pointer & the sent data must be a string? how come ? ? and how to access these string values !!!!

I guess it's the best to try it on your own. You can set a breakpoint when you receive the event and check the text in KEIL if you have trouble with UART.

I know that, I want know what is sent to identify the app, for example if the app is facebook will it send a facebook word only or a com.apple.facebook ? ? will it send it with capital letters inside it or as I wrote "com.apple.facebook" I can't see the letters sent due to language problems in my Laptop

@mohamed: If you have a look at our ble_app_ancs example, when you press Button2, "Get notification attributes" will be sent and you will have more information about the notification including App Identifier, Title, Subtitle, etc. It's described here.

Please have a look at the BSP_EVENT_KEY_1 event in bsp_event_handler() function in main.c.

I know that Hung, but I don't know how to do this & how to go through it, I feel like I don't understand it 100% but the basic concept is working with me & I want to improve it , by the way I'd like to recommend me a Nordic employee I can ask him about the ANCS

@Mohamed: I don't have much experienced with ANCS but as shown here, if you want to get more information about a notification, you should send the "Get notification attributes" to request information on particular attribute. Please have a look at the figure at the end of the page.

In your case it should be "NotificationAttributeIDAppIdentifier" attribute, as in the link you pointed to.

The notification from calendar should be notified to ANCS. As far as I know, any notification will be forwarded to ANCS client.
