Question About updating the certificate on LTE Link monitor

I am working on a project with nrF9160dk to connect with AWS IoT cloud, when I was trying to update the certificate by using LTE Link Monitor, why I am getting errors when I am trying to update the certificate. What is the reason I am getting the error? Can someone help me with these errors?

 I'm following this tutorial on dev zone: https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/guides/cellular-iot-guides/b/software-and-protocols/posts/connecting-to-aws-cloud-services-using-the-nrf9160. Please guide me step by step on how I should go about solving this problem.

Did you run "AT+CUFN=4" before writing the certificates?

If the problem still exists, please share the log file.

Hi Sobaha,

One the UI bottom, there is a button called "OPEN LOG FILE", please share this log file.

You can uncheck SETTINGS->Automatic requests to make the log file a bit more clear.

Developing with nRF9160 DK — nRF Connect SDK 1.9.1 documentation (nordicsemi.com) also has step-by-step operation guidance you can refer to.

Hi Sobaha,

+CME error codes518 – Not allowed in active state is explained in Credential storage management %CMNG.

The log file also shows you did not run "AT+CUFN=4" to deactivate the modem before writing certificate keys.
