IoT SDK 0.7.0. I thought we resolved this here, but I see now that we didn't. I have updated the question.

which IoT SDK version. I see the documents step_by_step is using the example "app_ipv6_coap_client" But, the SDK v0.7.0 is not for PCA10001, I found Nordic\nrf51\examples\iot\ipv6_coap_client\boards only has the PCA10028 example. It can be used on my borad PCA10001?

You need to run an example from the IoT SDK, not ble_app_beacon. Then check if you are connected with hcitool con.

I did that now can write it to 6lowpan_control.

then I write ifconfig, there is not bt0

my board is running the example C:\Keil_v5\ARM\Device\Nordic\nrf51822\Board\pca10001\s110\ble_app_beacon

Have you included 1 after the MAC address?

I try

echo echo “connect MAC_address“ > /sys/kernel/debug/bluetooth/6lowpan_control

But it can't work. I login as root do that, got write error: Invalid argument

Ok. So you find a BR/EDR device in hciconfig. Can you scan for devices by writing hcitool lescan? If there is no bt0 interface when you write ifconfig, you can try to connect to one of the examples in the IoT SDK. Then it should appear, I haven't experinced RADVD reacting on it not being there before, but it is worth a try. You don't need RADVD to connect, you need RADVD to advertise global prefixes. Just do hcitool lescan-> echo “connect 00:11:22:33:44:55 1“ > /sys/kernel/debug/bluetooth/6lowpan_control -> hcitool con. If you have a connection there should be a bt0 interface in ifconfig. Follow this. If one of the steps doesn't work, please let me know.
