&lt;p&gt;Regarding advertising, there is no timeout for normal&amp;nbsp;advertising in the nRF Connect SDK (Zephyr). You can implement that yourself for instance by using a workqueue.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Regarding disabling UART, there are different ways to do this. In most cases following &lt;a href="https://developer.nordicsemi.com/nRF_Connect_SDK/doc/1.6.1/nrf/app_power_opt.html#disabling-serial-logging"&gt;Disabling serial logging&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;describes what you want&lt;/p&gt;
