&lt;p&gt;I don&amp;#39;t see any problem doing OOB pairing via UART as long as it&amp;#39;s a different mean of communication other than BLE. From my point of view it&amp;#39;s even more secure than NFC.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I guess it&amp;#39;s just not common to use a wired connection to pair for a wireless connection. That could be the reason most of the OOB examples you find were using NFC.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
