I have 2 devices - nrf52840. One is Central and another is peripheral. I want to set a quicker data response time - shortest connection interval. As far as I know, the BLE standard min CI is 7.5ms. However, since I am using my own customized

RE: Can I use a smaller connection interval value than 7.5ms?

Hi Vincent,

For standard BLE, that will be challenging, but you can refer our latest LLPM to achieve the target:

https://developer.nordicsemi.com/nRF_Connect_SDK/doc/1.9.1/nrf/samples/bluetooth/llpm/README.html?highlight=llpm

The LLPM needs to be with NCS, and you can check the development guideline here, it is written by Nordic FAE manager in China:

https://www.cnblogs.com/iini/p/14174427.html

My understanding that you are using a nRF52840 based module, right? So you should be able to adopt it, we also have some successful story on mice: https://www.nordicsemi.com/News/2022/02/G-Wolves-uses-nRF52840-in-The-Hati-ACE-computer-peripherals

Thanks!

Leon
