Having the same issue, I uninstalled and reinstalled the SDK.
Now it works :)

Hello,
I have exactly the same errors :/
Suddenly I was unable to correctly build or pristine build my code, even with the basics examples of Zephyr.
Maybe the issue doesn't come from VS code, because even when I try with the west command on a terminal, I have the same errors...
Any idea?

its not any one application, its every application, even brand new samples made without any changes

Have you tried deleting the build folder or doing a pristine build?

Difficult to tell what causes this.

Sorry this was after testing several different things trying to get it to work (none of them did). I tried building it in several versions of nRF connect as my original project I was trying to build was in 1.7.1 and was compiling just fine before, I was wondering if an update somewhere had issues and I needed to use a more updated version of NCS

Hello,

Are you using nRF Connect SDK v1.7.1 to build your project? Was the "peripheral_lbs_4" project built for v1.7.1 as well or for v1.8.0 as I see you have?
