Hi,

The pm_static.yml only describes the static partitions, leaving the rest to be dynamically placed. Your build-folder/partitions.yml shows the whole layout. Could you attach this one?

Do you have a section where you select the "sdhc0" to be used as a mcuboot secondary, similar to how its done here?

Hi Håkon,

I am trying to use a sdhc device (it's just an SD card that is SPI-accessible).

The build fails before it is able to generate partitions.yml file.

I have provided a pm_static.yml with the following contained:

external_flash:
  address: 0x0
  region: external_flash
  size: 0x100000

The overlay file was already in the child_image/mcuboot/boards/ directory.

Can SDHC devices be used as secondary slots?

Hi,

Are you using a spi-nor device, or are you using a sdhc device?

Could you share your build-folder/partitions.yml file?

You should move the child_image/mcuboot/nrf52840dk_nrf52840.overlay to child_image/mcuboot/boards/nrf52840dk_nrf52840.overlay
