John Conley on our nRF Cloud Back End team has fixed the issue. From the reported issue on GitHub...

"Looks like there's a missing step to run yarn compile after yarn install. I'll work on updating the Readme, will move constructs to v2 as well to avoid the peer dep warnings."

Those tasks have been completed and merged into GitHub. Let us know if you have any further problems.
