Hi Marte and thank you for your support. Indeed the problem was due to a bad connection that was causing the J-Link to read wrong reference voltage. It is fixed now.

Hi,

Since it works sometimes but not others it is possible that the issue is due to a bad connection somewhere. JLink debuggers will not show up in the Programmer if they are not connected to anything, so you need to have it connected to a supported device and the device must be turned on in order for it to show up.

Unfortunately, this error is not repeatable, sometimes the programmer works and recognizes the target and sometimes it won't. Also, I have noticed that as soon as enable the verbose logging and restart the programmer it works fine. In the midtime, I experience an issue with the J-Link probe and I am not sure if this is behind the issue. I am in contact with Segger about that.

I will close the ticket for now and reopen it if the issue persists.

Hi,

What device do you have connected to your J-Link plus compact?

Please upload a log showing this with verbose logging enabled. Enable verbose logging and restart the application with verbose logging from the 'About' tab in the Programmer app.
