Combining nRF52810 and nRF52832 in one project

Well I do not need to use the softdevice so starting from a project that doesn't use the softdevice seems to be a logical thing to do.

I however did compare both SDK_config files and disabled 99% of all features followed by disabling and removing all unused libraries loaded in the project and managed to get my program compiled for both the 810 and 832.

Preferably I would have started my project from an example project where only the microcontroller stuff and log are loaded and enabled instead of a project where everything is loaded.

Hi,

I think it might be related to the flash storage module. The template example includes a lot of stuff that you probably don't need, I think the Blinky example is much easier to start with.

If I view the flash_placement.xml from the hardware examples of the nRF52810 I do not find any fs_data in those.

Even if I remove the line it will not compile, it mentions that it cannot create the linker file because of missing things. (It does not show what it is missing)

Maybe you can tell me what instance uses the fs_data parameters, I would be able to tell if I will be needing those functionality

Hi there,

Could you try to compare the flace_placement.xml files of the template and your example, and see if there is anything related to fs_data that is missing? You can find the file in the SES folder.
