Currently Im using SES with cloned nRF SDK 15.0.3 for nrf52811, however I would like to start using https://developer.nordicsemi.com/nRF_Connect_SDK/doc/latest/nrfxlib/nrf_802154/doc/api

RE: Use of nrfxlib nRF 802.15.4 Radio Driver with SDK 15.0.3 on nrf52811

The tags of the older versions are still available, so you can check out to the tag of the version you need if it is not under releases. As an example, v1.8.0 is available here: https://github.com/NordicSemiconductor/nRF-IEEE-802.15.4-radio-driver/tree/v1.8.0.

RE: Use of nrfxlib nRF 802.15.4 Radio Driver with SDK 15.0.3 on nrf52811
If you want to use the driver with nRF5 SDK you must use version 1.10.0 or earlier
I just had another look. Actually, there might be a problem here. Only versions 1.10.0 and 1.9.0 are available for download. Yet the release notes for 1.9.0 say this:

MPSL is a required dependency for dynamic multiprotocol operations. Dynamic multiprotocol with a SoftDevice is no longer supported.

So can you still get an 802.15.4 -driver that works with a softdevice? I'm still using 1.8.x because of this issue, but it seems that is no longer available at all?

RE: Use of nrfxlib nRF 802.15.4 Radio Driver with SDK 15.0.3 on nrf52811

Hi,

As mrono says the old driver is still available for download in the releases section, https://github.com/NordicSemiconductor/nRF-IEEE-802.15.4-radio-driver/releases, and the documentation and API is on Infocenter: nRF IEEE 802.15.4 radio driver v1.10.0.

If you want to use the driver with nRF5 SDK you must use version 1.10.0 or earlier, as after this version the driver is no longer standalone but a component of nRF Connect SDK.

Best regards,

The older 802.15.4 driver is still available here:

https://github.com/NordicSemiconductor/nRF-IEEE-802.15.4-radio-driver/releases

And documentation for it is still on Nordic's InfoCenter.

I don't think the nrfxlib stuff can be used with the old nRF5 SDK, but I haven't really checked.
