I have an NRF52-DK, which works fine. I'm developing applications for external modules, obviously, and am currently programming them with the DK on-board programmer.
Moving forward, I'm looking for a fallback solution for module programming.
Best regards,

Well, problem is that it costs $65, more than a fallback dk52.. kinda beats the purpose.

Adding to what I wrote above availability is currently horrible. Many many boards, including jlink edu-mini are unavailable with no prospect of restock

RE: Additional programming options

You use the IDAP-Link https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/I-SYST/CS-BLYST-08?qs=T3oQrply3y%252BhSfpc3hK%2FLg%3D%3D.

It comes with command line utilise to parallel flashing multiple nRF51/nRF52 boards at the same time, great for production. Can flash softdevice + app + dfu without requiring mergehex. Multiple IDAP-Link are required for parallel flashing.

Also works as CMSIS-DAP debug jtag. So can use it as well with any IDE or OpenOCD that supports CMSIS-DAP on any ARM Cortex-M supported by the IDE.
